MOTOCROSS LEGEND JIMMY BUTTON TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR SPINAL CORD RESEARCH
Scottsdale, AZ - In 2011, former motocross champion Jimmy Button and his trainer Cory Worf will be cycling 2,428 miles from San Diego, California to Daytona Beach, Florida to raise awareness for spinal cord research and to help find a cure to spinal cord injuries.
In 2000, Jimmy suffered paralyzing injuries during a practice crash at the San Diego Supercross and through the help and support of family, friends, and doctors he has just celebrated his 10 year anniversary from the accident and is one of the fortunate few to recover from a serious spinal cord injury.
Join our cause by sponsoring or donating to Miles for Miracles and to bring awareness and hope to less fortunate spinal cord injury victims. Our goal is to raise $1 Million to be donated to Dr. Hans Keirstead, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Anatomy and Neurology at University of California-Irvine Reeves Irvine Research Center in Irvine, California.
